Marketing + Business Development Intern

During my MBA entrepreneurship course, I partnered with The Pilates Collective SLO to refine their marketing and business development strategy. What began as a 10-week internship evolved into a long-term collaboration, driven by my belief in the studio’s mission and growth potential.

I conducted in-depth market research, facilitated client surveys, and led a SWOT analysis to uncover actionable insights. I implemented a new email communication system to enhance client engagement and organized a social media giveaway to help the brand connect with a younger demographic.

Working closely with Katie Nedom, I helped build a comprehensive brand and content toolkit—including a social media guide, visual content gallery, and a strategic marketing plan designed to support future growth.

This experience allowed me to blend strategy and storytelling to elevate a local brand I truly believed in.

  • Assisted with digital marketing projects and supported various business areas as needed.

  • Updated the company website using Squarespace, including creating landing pages for engaging giveaways.

  • Conducted consumer segment research to identify target audience and inform marketing strategies.

  • Supported marketing and sales strategy for Pilates Collective SLO, contributing to increased brand awareness and customer acquisition.

  • Managed social media content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent branding and engaging user experiences.
